What Is "The Cloud"? ☁️
Imagine you have a toy box at home. But instead of keeping all your toys there, you put them in a huge toy storage place that you can reach from anywhere — your friend's house, the car, school — as long as you have a key.
That's kind of what "the cloud" is! It's a big collection of powerful computers called servers connected to the internet, where people and companies store their stuff — pictures, videos, documents, apps — instead of keeping it all on one device.
Servers in Buildings
The cloud is really thousands of computers inside huge buildings called data centres, spread all around the world.
Accessible Anywhere
Any device with internet can reach your cloud files — phone, tablet, laptop, or a school computer.
Stores Everything
Photos, videos, homework, games, apps — the cloud holds it all so your own device doesn't have to.
